About This Site

Baltimore does not offer one official public roster that answers every booking-photo question. This private guide brings the relevant DPSCS, Baltimore Police, court, and records-request paths together so readers can start with the office that actually owns the record. We publish no mugshot gallery and do not rehost booking photographs.

Why This Guide Exists

Baltimore's custody system crosses agency lines. Baltimore Police creates arrest data, the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services runs the Baltimore Central Booking & Intake Center, and Maryland courts hold the docket and final disposition. DPSCS also operates the statewide incarcerated individual locator for people in its custody. When a public web page does not display a booking record or photograph, a Maryland Public Information Act request may be the proper next step. This site organizes those official sources and explains their different roles without copying their records or images.

What Readers Can Find

The main guides separate an arrest event from current detention, a court result, and later state custody.

  • The home guide covers arrest data, Central Booking, custody searches, booking-record requests, and lawful correction or removal routes.
  • The Baltimore busted mugshots guide explains the city-specific route from a BPD arrest to DPSCS intake and court review.
  • Sheriff's Most Wanted distinguishes the public wanted list from an official warrant confirmation.
  • Mugshots in the News shows how to verify selected news reports against police, custody, and court sources.

Limits of This Site

We are privately operated and have no affiliation with a Maryland agency, the Baltimore City Sheriff's Office, Baltimore Police, BCBIC, DPSCS, or any court. We cannot confirm a person's custody or release status, provide an official record, or advise someone about a legal matter.

  • We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for anyone.
  • We cannot provide legal advice or act for a requester.
  • We cannot promise that every agency contact, fee, or procedure remains unchanged.

Only the responsible law-enforcement, corrections, or court office can confirm custody, charges, release, or case disposition. This guide can identify a likely source, but the official answer must come from that source.

Independent Search Partners

Some search boxes are supplied by outside providers that control their own results, terms, and prices. If a visitor follows one of those tools and purchases a subscription or service, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the guides available at no charge, but it does not give us control over a partner's data or billing.
